FGP's annual shopping day is on March 26, 2011 at DEFINE Body & Mind, 1945 West Gray, Houston, TX 77019.

We need both men and women who can help be personal shoppers or dress runners as students find the perfect dress and accessories during our annual shopping day. We also need volunteers to help set up, decorate, check in/out students and clean up.

All volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation on March 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to assist in set up at DEFINE. Orientation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Our shifts are 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 12 to 4 p.m. Please specify which shift you are interested in on your application. Please consider volunteering for the entire day and bring shopping bags or garment bags for the students.

The deadline to apply to be a volunteer was March 24.

If you want to volunteer, you must fill out an application. All volunteers should bring a photo ID.

Organize a donation drive

At work, at school or among friends, you can gather donations for us. It can be a simple one-day drive where you collect makeup for the girls to use on their prom night.

Help spread the word

We are looking for Houston-area educators willing to be a part of our Teachers& Coaches Advisory Board. Members of this board will assist us by promoting the event to their students and directing students to the website to fill out an application. We can provide materials to help you get the word out to your students.
